- MULTILAYER FOAM PAD WITH AN ADHESIVE BORDER â Euroderm foam plus is a multi-layer hydro cellular PU foam with adhesive edge. The hydro active dressing consists of a highly absorbent soft PU membrane, a PU non-adherent wound contact layer, and a breathable PU film, which is, vapor permeable but liquid, bacteria and virus impermeable, allowing the skin to breathe.
- HYPOALLERGENIC SEMI-PERMEABLE COMFORT PROTECTION â Ideal for diabetic wounds, pressure sores stages I-IV, post-operative wounds, vascular lesions, 1st and 2nd degree burns, lesions with fragile, delicate wound perimeter, and skin donor sites. Euroderm foam plus reduces pressure over the wound area, thereby reducing friction, sheer stresses, and giving excellent patient comfort and protection.
- SOFT HIGHLY ABSORBENT FOAM PAD AND NON-ADHERENT PET WOUND CONTACT LAYER â Euroderm Foam maintains a moist wound environment at the surface of the wound, to promote the formation of new tissue and wound healing. The perforated film wound contact layer prevents adherence of the foam to the wound, allowing pain free removal and regulates foam fluid uptake.
- PERFECTLY CONFORMS TO THE WOUND BED â Fluids are vertically absorbed and uniformly distributed into the foam dressing that perfectly conforms to the wound-bed maintaining the optimal moist wound environment for the healing process. The exclusive open cell structure, grants a controlled absorption of exudates that remain entrapped in the PU foam even under pressure, minimizing the risk of skin maceration.
